Josee owner of Llamazing Adventures, a llama trekking farm is a former city girl turned off-grid farm enthusiast. Her career path included dog grooming, horseback riding lessons, medical esthetics and now managing a llama trekking farm, she's truly embraced a diverse range of experiences.
This adventurous spirit thrives on pushing herself outside her comfort zone, always seeking new opportunities for learning and growth, both in terms of personal development and lifestyle choices.
A lover of hiking, traveling, and all things animals, she starts her days bright and early as a morning person.
She has learned so much in the last few years during some of the biggest challenges in her life when her llama business exploded and had to keep up with 7 days work weeks running the business and farm. Josee talks about hitting burnout state and how she conquered the many challenges of building an off grid farm and cottage, living there without running water etc for over a year.
With now 20 animals under her care, including camels, llamas, alpacas, horses, and emus, she embodies a minimalist approach while striving for self-sufficiency.

Kayla is a clinical traumatologist who has worked in community development since 2008 across municipal, non-profit, and private sectors and has been in clinical practice since 2012, where she focused on severe and persistent mental illnesses, intimate partner violence and homelessness. Her career quickly evolved in specializing in racial trauma, adverse childhood experiences and vicarious trauma. She was awarded the Young Women of Distinction Award in 2014, by YWCA. She is also a clinical supervisor and licensed with the Colleges of Counselling Therapy in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. She holds a CCC designation as a Canadian Certified Counsellor, sits on the board of MAPS Canada, a recipient of the 2023 top 100 black women in Canada, 2022 Coralus Venture, and is a monthly mental health columnist for CBC Moncton and PEI. Kayla loves anything mint, has two kids 6 and under, loves nature and engages in her ancestral teachings in plant medicine, through sage, peppermint and cannabis, to keep her shit together -mind, body, and spirit.
